The chalk protector is a very simple product but is extremely valuable. Chalk dust over time damages and deteriorates the foam padding inside of a cue case. This is designed to protect the inside of your case from chalk dust left over on the chalk block by keeping it trapped inside of the block. Due to these being made from silicone, they can be cleaned out with water and a cloth to dry them after if they collect too much chalk dust.
